Extra Curricular

Freeklime is an ideal venue for extra curricular activities!

We’ve delivered bespoke sessions to a number of different schools, such as Huddersfield Grammar School, Greenhead College & Pocklington School which proved immensely popular with pupils, parents and teachers alike.

We also have experience of delivering sessions to young people with additional needs and can cater sessions accordingly.

GCSE PE

‍The National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS) is a UK-wide scheme designed to promote climbing development and accredited individual achievement on indoor climbing walls.

We offer world-class dedicated bouldering facilities and are well placed to deliver the pre-requisites of the GCSE curriculum, including climbing on steep ground, climbing at one’s limit, traversing and 3 points of contact.

Created by some of the most experienced coaches in the UK, NICAS gives children aged 7-17 the fundamental skills in safety, etiquette at the wall, technique and training.

NICAS has five progressive levels of award for complete novices to expert climbers!
