It’s a bit of both, but not a pressure comp. You take part in challenges, score what you can, and each challenge gives you 1 entry into the prize draw.

Do I need to be a strong climber to have a chance of winning?

No. The winners are picked at random, and more points just give you more chances. It’s set up for a celebration vibe, not a “only the best win” format.

Yes. Standard general admission applies for non-members, and members climb free when logged in to beta at checkout.

Freeklime Huddersfield's Birthday

It’s a centre birthday celebration with a bunch of bouldering challenges to have a go at, plus food stalls and a prize draw with a raffle-style twist. Members climb free!

What to expect

A fun mix of bouldering challenges, including:

Dyno Wall
Slab Challenge
Traverse Time Trial
One-Handed Boulder
Upside-Down Boulder
And more to be confirmed

Prizes

It’s not “most points wins”. For each challenge you complete and score, you get 1 entry into the prize draw. More points means more entries. Winners are picked randomly (raffle style).
